What is the Advantage of Having a Degree in Criminal Justice?
The degree in criminal justice opens the door for you to pursue more career criminal justice that are interesting and not only limit you to just FBI special agent or a Police Officer path in your career. Before getting to criminal justice make sure that the factors or drive that took to this career path is huge enough to let you proceed with the career further. This should not be just for you to secure a job as you will find this career hard and in some cases boring.
You should also know what career path you would want to take before settling on criminal justice. Note that careers such law enforcement, sheriff deputies, FBI agents and state troopers do not require you to have a degree in criminal justice.
